Envol Studio teamed up with Havas Helia and the Aston Martin F1 Team, to launch its first fan and partner engagement platform – I/AM.
We developed a visual world that took cues from the brands heritage and the thrill of the sport, whilst carving out a look and feel that gave the platform its own sense of character.

When developing the new word mark, we wanted to create something that belonged to the fans, whilst taking inspiration from the key thing that unites them – the track!
By dissecting the iconic Aston Martin logo, we discovered a form that made the foundation the letter A. Marrying this with hairpin bends gave the word mark it’s distinct and modern look, whilst taking cues from the master brand.






We went on to flesh out a graphic system by utilising the stroke mark of the I/AM logo as a new code. The stroke is used highlight stories, whilst setting the basis for a flexible and modular grid system to frame content.
We then explored the stroke device further to create a suite of patterns and dynamic textures, designed to capture a sense of speed and energy.
